Powered by Aputure’s advanced BLAIR-CG chipset, the NOVA II 1x1 delivers full-spectrum color control with an expansive 1800–20,000K CCT range. Plus/minus green adjustment allows for precise white point tuning, making it easy to match ambient light sources or dial in creative looks for film, television, and broadcast environments.
Impressive Brightness in a 1x1 Form Factor
Featuring a native 35° beam angle, the NOVA II 1x1 outputs up to 108,200 lux at 3.3’ (5600K) and maintains strong intensity at greater distances. Smooth, stepless dimming from 0.1–100% is supported across four selectable dimming curves—linear, exponential, logarithmic, and S-curve—for consistent results across cameras.

Built for color-critical applications, the NOVA II 1x1 delivers exceptional fidelity with CRI 95, TLCI 95, TM-30 Rf 95, and Rg 100. Additional metrics include CQS 96 and strong SSI ratings, ensuring natural skin tones and accurate color reproduction. Advanced green/magenta correction supports compliance with professional broadcast and cinema standards.
BLAIR-CG Chipset Performance
The BLAIR-CG chipset uses a seven-diode array—blue, lime, amber, indigo, red, cyan, and green—to deliver consistent, high-quality output across the full color spectrum. This design allows the NOVA II 1x1 to accurately reproduce ambient light sources, fine-tune color balance, or push bold creative contrasts with confidence.
Advanced Control & Connectivity
The fixture supports intuitive onboard control, mobile app operation, and professional control protocols including 16-bit DMX512, LumenRadio CRMX, and Art-Net/sACN. Batch firmware updates can be deployed via Sidus Link Pro, Sidus Link, USB drive, or DMX, streamlining maintenance for studios and rental environments.
Rugged, Production-Ready Design
Engineered for demanding shoots, the NOVA II 1x1 features a weather-sealed IP65-rated enclosure suitable for studio and exterior use. A removable yoke provides rigging flexibility, while Aputure’s QuickClip front-mount accessory system allows for faster, more efficient light shaping on set. The lamp head weighs just 21 lb without the yoke or 25 lb with it.
