This 7" high-bright HDR monitor provides the ability to view 4K footage remotely via Wi-Fi while also providing remote focus and camera control in an Atomos TX/RX environment or via wired USB/serial.
7" Daylight Viewable Screen
The Shinobi 7 RX features a 7" IPS LCD 1920 x 1080 screen illuminated by a bright 2200 cd/m² LED backlight, making it possible to view in daylight without a hood. The screen is factory color calibrated to ensure accurate image representation.
Built-In Wi-Fi 6E
The Shinobi 7 RX includes built-in Wi-Fi 6E for pairing with an Atomos TX device, and it can also view external RTSP H.264 streams with low-latency wireless under 60ms from up to 984' away. This enables your crew to move freely on set without losing visual connection.
High-Resolution Connectivity
Monitor 4K footage in DCI or UHD 4K formats via HDMI 2.0 up to 60 fps and up to 1080p60 via 3G-SDI. It features HDMI/SDI cross conversion, as well as HDMI and 3G-SDI loop outputs for flexible signal routing.
Touch to Focus
When connected to a compatible camera, simply tap the Shinobi 7 RX touchscreen for the camera to automatically focus on your point of interest. Touch to focus utilizes camera focus tracking modes for smooth, responsive control.
Power & Versatile USB-C Connection
The monitor includes dual NP-F/L-series battery slots for extended use and supports optional dummy batteries. It can also be powered via USB-C PD input using an adapter, external battery, or power bank. The USB-C port enables both power delivery and camera control for supported models, and it supports external calibrators without a computer.

Audio Monitoring
The monitor allows input/output of embedded audio via HDMI and SDI. Output audio through the 3.5mm headphone port or monitor external sound with the 3.5mm stereo line input.
Image Tools
Running the latest AtomOS firmware, the Shinobi 7 RX includes advanced tools like multi-scope views, exposure assist, framing guides, waveform, RGB parade, and histogram. Use the SD card slot to load and apply custom 3D LUTs to both input and output signals for precise exposure control.
Camera Control
Supports intuitive camera control for Canon, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony (via USB-C), and Z CAM E2 (via optional serial cable). Adjust aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, overlays, record trigger, and more—all from the touchscreen interface.
Calibration
The Shinobi 7 RX can be calibrated using the Calibrite Display Pro HL/Plus HL probe with the Atomos Calibrator app for precise HDR and Rec.709 accuracy—ensuring dependable color fidelity in every shoot.
Anamorphic De-Squeeze
Supports multiple de-squeeze ratios, including 2x, 1.8x, 1.79x, 1.65x, 1.6x, 1.5x, 1.33x, and 1.25x, letting you comfortably preview anamorphic footage in the correct aspect ratio.
