Atomos ATOMSUMSE1 Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher The Atomos Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher features an enhanced 19" IPS touchscreen display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 1200 cd/m² brightness, offering a sharper and brighter viewing experience while maintaining the 4K recording, monitoring, and switching capabilities of its predecessor. It supports video signals up to 4K60 via four 12G-SDI inputs and one HDMI 2.0 input, with live quad-channel switching. The device records five channels simultaneously, capturing individual input feeds and the live-switched output for streamlined post-production. Additionally, HDMI 2.0 and quad-SDI connections support genlock and LTC timecode synchronization.
Intuitive Interface
The Sumo 19" SE records in ProRes RAW and 8-bit+FRC 422 ProRes/DNxHR formats. It processes RAW, Log, PQ, and HLG outputs from various cameras and gaming consoles, mapping them in real time to display HDR with 10+ stops of dynamic range. This makes it an excellent choice for on-set monitoring by directors or clients. Two XLR inputs with +48V phantom power allow for balanced audio recording using external microphones. The package includes desktop feet, mounting accessories, and multiple power supply options for seamless integration into studio setups.
