Canon Learning Day 2023

We want to thank everyone who attended the Canon Learning Day Event that we hosted on July 19th in Austin, Texas at Omega Broadcast and Cinema. It was a great success and we hope you had a wonderful time learning and having fun with Canon.

The event was a full-day workshop where we invited professional photographers and instructors from Canon USA to teach you about the latest Canon products, techniques, and tips. We also had tacos, gift certificates, and swag.

The workshop was divided into two sessions: PTZ Cameras and Cinema Cameras/ lenses. In session one, you learned about the CR-N300, CR-N500, and also had a live demonstration of the CR-N700 Auto Tracking with the RC-IP100. In session two, you learned about the C70, R5 C, C300 Mark III, C500 Mark II, and a variety of cinema lenses.

We ended the workshop with a Q&A session and a chance to try out the products where you could ask any questions you had about how Canon products can improve your cinematography experience. David Doko and Sara Strick enjoyed being able to share their expertise and answer all of your questions.

We really enjoyed hosting the Canon Learning Day Event and we hope you learned a lot from it. It was a fun and informative way to spend a day and meet other like-minded people. We want to thank Canon USA for sponsoring this event and providing us with their products and instructors. Creamsource Lighting was kind enough to supply us with all of the lighting used at the event and gave away some awesome swag! Also, a huge shoutout to Sennheiser for sending a representative to share his expertise on all things related to audio, and for showing us his guitar skills. We also want to thank all the staff who made this event possible and memorable.
