Exploring the Newest Canon Firmware Updates
Canon has recently announced a series of firmware updates for its cinema products, including the EOS C70, EOS R5 C, EOS C300 Mark III, EOS C500 Mark II, and XF605. - Enables to select 1920×1080 59.94i/50i 25Mbps format when in XF-AVC recording. Adds [Chunk Recording] function
- Adds the ability to record proxy files in timed segments (30 seconds / 1 min / 2 min) when Main and Proxy recording is selected
- Simultaneously records a clip that split by time, suitable for automatic transfer to SD card B while the main clip is recorded to SD card A
- Adds the function to automatically transfer chunk recording clip via Content Transfer Mobile
- Enhances Clear Scan resolution
- Enables to change WFM size
- Enables to change Vector scope gain by touch.
- Enables to change WFM/Vector scope transparency

- Adds the ability to select multiple files from a playlist for indexing and continuous playback
- Adds [LCD/VF] in Peaking and Zebra settings
- The default setting of the [All] has been changed from [LCD/VF] to prevent unintended effects from being applied to HDMI/SDI output
