The First Ever Music Event to Stream Live in 4K
from the SXSW 2015 Music Festival

Austin, Texas - The FADER FORT Presented by Converse is scheduled to Stream the first ever 4K live concert event worldwide. The FADER is the two time winner of the FOLIO magazine Gold Eddie award for “Best consumer entertainment magazine” and is known for highlighting emerging musical artists. The Fader Fort event was engineered through a coordinated effort between Dell, Intel, Sharp, Red Digital Cinema, Omega Broadcast Group and XI Media Productions. As the first in their fields to steam a 4K Music event live worldwide, the process required the expertise of all involved to coordinate the appropriate technologies to create a seamless delivery. From a press release by CNBC Wednesday, March 11, we learn that “the live stream will allow music fans around the world to experience the live performances and exclusive interviews from top artists including Migo, Bleachers, and more, live in brilliant 4K.” All performances will be streamed online at TheFADER.com/FORT.
