EW-DX Firmware

Version 1.2.13

Sennheiser is pleased to release EW-DX firmware version 1.2.13. This version offers support of 802.1x, support of EW-DX devices in WSM as well as minor bug fixes. For conformity, consistency, and compatibility reasons, we strongly recommend upgrading the system to the new release.

  • The cable emulation settings for the SK could also be synced to the SKM. This bug has been resolved.
  • After performing an update, the “Manual” IP mode was not working correctly. This bug has been resolved.

    (WSM) Update 4.6.0

    Sennheiser is pleased to release software update version 4.6.0.1 for its Wireless Systems Manager. It is recommended that all WSM users upgrade to the latest firmware package. Highlights of new features include the following:

    Support of EW-DX EM2 including:

    •  Device discovery in the network
    •  Remote configuration of device settings
  • Remote configuration of channel properties
    • Integration to the “Professional Setup”
    • Monitoring
    • Provision of firmware updates
    • Integration to the “Spectrum Analyzer”
    • Integration to the “RF Level Recorder”
    • Note: The features “Easy Setup” and “Channel Sorting” with EW-DX are not supported in this release
  • It is now possible to expand and collapse all channels in the system window at once
  • Added shortcuts for “Save As” and “Refresh Device List” functions
  • Other enhancements include minor improvements as well as various bugfixes
    • Note: To ensure correct interoperability of WSM and the receivers, a firmware version v1.2.13 or higher is required.
