The FreeSpeak Update We Have All Been Waiting For

ClearCom has recently released a new firmware update for its FreeSpeak II digital wireless system that adds Bluetooth headset support. This feature allows users to connect their own Bluetooth headsets to the FreeSpeak II beltpacks and enjoy the benefits of wireless communication without compromising audio quality, comfort, or reliability.

The Bluetooth headset support is available for the FreeSpeak II 1.9 GHz and 2.4 GHz beltpacks, which are designed for high-performance wireless intercoms in complex and demanding production environments. The beltpacks can operate in dual-band mode, switching between the two frequency bands to ensure optimal signal strength and coverage. The beltpacks also have a robust and ergonomic design, with a large OLED display, intuitive controls, and a long-lasting battery life.

The new firmware update enables users to pair their own Bluetooth headsets with the beltpacks, using the standard Bluetooth pairing process. Once paired, the Bluetooth headsets can be used as the primary or secondary audio device for the beltpacks, depending on the user's preference. The Bluetooth headsets can also be used for private calls or listen-only mode, as well as for mixing with the intercom audio.

The new feature offers several advantages for the users of the FreeSpeak II system. First, it gives you more flexibility and convenience in choosing your preferred audio device, as you can use your own wireless earphones instead of the wired headsets provided by ClearCom. Second, it enhances mobility and comfort, as you can move around freely without being tethered by wires or cables. Third, it improves the audio quality and noise cancellation of wireless communication, as wireless earphones can provide better sound isolation and clarity than wired headsets.

The new firmware update not only supports Bluetooth headsets for the FreeSpeak II system, but it also includes other improvements and bug fixes.
