Built-in AI analytics recognize human subjects with high precision, controlling pan, tilt, and zoom for smooth, natural-looking framing. Combined with high-performance AF and PTZ Auto Framing, the BRC-AM7 tracks fast-moving subjects accurately and reduces the need for a large camera crew.

Versatile Optical & ND Capabilities

A newly developed 24-480 mm integrated lens provides a 20x optical zoom range, while Clear Image Zoom extends up to 30x (720 mm) in 4K and 40x (940 mm) in Full HD. The built-in electronic variable ND filter seamlessly adjusts from 1/4 to 1/128 ND, maintaining optimal exposure in changing lighting without affecting depth of field.

Effortless Color Matching

Color matching with other Sony cameras is simplified through ITU709 and 709tone, as well as S-Cinetone and S-Log3. This makes multi-camera operations more efficient and helps maintain a consistent, cinematic look across your entire production.

Smooth, Quiet Operation

A direct drive system with newly developed motors allows detailed control over pan and tilt—from a slow 0.004 degrees per second to a swift 180 degrees per second. This ensures smooth, quiet movement suited for broadcast studios, houses of worship, corporate spaces, and performance venues where silence and precision are essential.

Integration & Installation Freedom

As one of the smallest and lightest cameras in its class*, the BRC-AM7 can be installed in tight spaces where other PTZ cameras may not fit. Standard screw sockets allow flexible mounting and accessory options, while support for S700PTP, free-d, and control via Sony RCP/MSU units enables seamless integration with Sony’s system cameras in advanced multi-camera environments.
