Clear-Com AC80 FreeSpeak Edge 4-Bay Intercom Drop In Beltpack Battery Charger The Clear-Com AC80 is a multi-bay battery charger designed to charge up to four FreeSpeak Edge beltpacks or BAT80 batteries at once—either individually or in combination. Each of the four slots accepts either a full beltpack or a standalone BAT80 battery, offering flexibility for mixed charging configurations (e.g., two batteries and two beltpacks simultaneously).
When charging via the AC80:
- A beltpack battery takes up to 5 hours to reach a full charge.
- A standalone BAT80 battery takes approximately 3.5 hours to fully charge.
- Charging either a beltpack or battery to 20% takes around 30 minutes, which provides about 2 hours of runtime.
The FreeSpeak Edge beltpack, powered by the BAT80 Li-Ion battery, delivers over
12 hours of operational time on a full charge. Alternatively, the beltpack can be powered and charged via its
USB-C port, using a power source rated at
5V/2A or higher for optimal performance.
Built for high-demand professional environments, the AC80 features a durable design with an intuitive interface. Side-mounted charging contacts ensure easy docking and removal of both batteries and beltpacks, streamlining daily use.
