Created to withstand the sidelines of NFL games, the Klover MiK 26 Tactical Parabolic Microphone Dish Assembly turns your omnidirectional microphone into a long-range microphone capable of capturing conversations at distances up to 600 feet with impressive clarity. The Tactical model features a modified front flange that allows it to fit into a smaller waterproof case for easier transport.

The 26-inch Klover MiK 26 Tactical is the company’s largest parabolic dish assembly. It is compatible with lavalier microphones up to 0.3 inches (8 mm) in diameter and small-diaphragm microphones measuring 0.75 inches (1.9 cm) to 0.87 inches (2.2 cm) in diameter. Designed for demanding environments, the MiK 26 Tactical is constructed from carbon fiber reinforced with continuous Kevlar fibers, greatly enhancing strength and durability. While it is widely recognized in the broadcast industry—frequently seen on the sidelines of professional football games—it is also suitable for military and tactical operations, as well as fire and rescue applications.

Klover MiK 26 Tactical vs. Klover MiK 26 Standard

These two models are functionally equivalent and deliver the same audio performance. The only difference between them is the shape of the flat flange on the front surface of the parabolic dish.

The Tactical model’s flange shape allows the dish to be rotated slightly so it can fit inside a waterproof (Pelican-style) shipping case. It also enables the unit to fit in a slightly smaller shipping container, helping reduce shipping costs.

Detailed Design

Designed for Safety

Unlike brittle PVC parts that can break into sharp, spear-like edges, or metal parts that may cause serious injury to the operator or athlete, the Klover MiK 26’s carbon fiber components are designed to crush upon impact.

All protruding studs have also been removed from the front of the dish for added safety.

Modular Construction

Attachments such as microphone yokes and handles are designed to be interchangeable, allowing you to customize your Klover MiK 26 for different applications and easily replace damaged parts.

The dish is also designed to be safely stacked without scratching the critical internal surface.
