Flexible Zoom and High-Resolution Performance
The Marshall CV420-27X UHD 4K Box Camera is designed for a wide range of professional applications, including broadcast, government, courtrooms, education, houses of worship, corporate training, remote medical, and online communication environments. Featuring an 8.57MP 1/2.5" CMOS sensor, it captures sharp UHD 4K video at up to 60 fps.
This compact box-style camera includes a powerful 27x optical zoom lens with up to 12x digital zoom. With a focal length range of 5.56 to 150.29mm and a horizontal field of view from 60° to 3.2°, it delivers clear, detailed images from wide-angle shots to long-distance telephoto capture.
IP Streaming with SRT Support
The CV420-27X supports SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), an open-source protocol designed to optimize video streaming across unstable or unpredictable networks. This ensures secure, high-quality video delivery with reliable performance, even in lower-quality network conditions.
Low-Light Performance
Built for challenging lighting environments, the camera offers excellent low-light sensitivity. It maintains clear image quality in dynamic conditions such as live events, houses of worship, and indoor or outdoor sporting applications.
Flexible Input and Output Options
The camera features multiple output interfaces, including 12G-SDI, HDMI, and IP, allowing seamless integration into a variety of production workflows. A 3.5mm stereo audio input enables the addition of external audio sources directly into the video stream.
Simplified Connectivity and Control
The CV420-27X can be configured for a single-cable workflow using PoE, transmitting UHD 4K video, audio, control, and power over Ethernet. It also supports simultaneous HDMI output with embedded stereo audio. Remote control is available via RS-232 using a separately available controller, providing flexibility for both setup and operation.
