The Marshall PTZ Camera IP/NDI Controller is a powerful solution designed to manage up to 255 IP PTZ cameras across a variety of professional environments. Supporting multiple protocols—including IP, NDI, USB, and RS-232/422/485—it enables seamless control of complex camera systems from a single interface.
Flexible Protocol Support
This controller allows simultaneous operation across multiple protocols, including combinations such as IP + NDI + RS-232/RS-422 or IP + USB + RS-232/RS-422. It supports industry-standard protocols such as VISCA, VISCA-over-IP, PELCO D/P, ONVIF, and NDI, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of cameras and systems.
Precision Control Interface
Equipped with a high-quality joystick, the controller enables smooth, one-handed pan, tilt, and zoom adjustments. It also features a tactile zoom rocker, iris control knob, alphanumeric keypad, and a 3-inch LCD screen for intuitive navigation and system control.
Scalable Camera Management
The controller supports up to 7 cameras via RS-232, up to 14 cameras via RS-422 (daisy-chained), and up to 255 cameras over IP/NDI networks. It also includes auto-discovery functionality for quickly identifying and configuring NDI cameras on the network.
Real-Time Monitoring and Control
The built-in LCD screen supports RTSP and NDI preview, allowing operators to monitor camera feeds directly from the controller. Additional controls include quick adjustments for exposure, shutter speed, iris, white balance, focus, and pan/tilt/zoom speeds.
Enhanced Workflow Features
The controller includes multi-color illuminated buttons for clear function identification and a tally indicator with Normal, On-Air, and Contact modes. Firmware updates can be performed via USB or through the product webpage, ensuring long-term flexibility and performance.
Flexible Power Options and Applications
Power the controller via the included adapter or through PoE on a supported network. It is ideal for use in broadcast television, houses of worship, education, ProAV installations, live sports, live music, and any PTZ or NDI-based production workflow.
