The X-HEAD STUDIO 2-Axis Remote Video Head from SLIDEKAMERA BY MRMC provides precise pan and tilt movement for camera rigs weighing up to 17.6 lb. Designed for use with cine-style and broadcast cameras, this professional remote head can be used alone or as part of a slider or crane/jib setup. Its reinforced construction features a unified mount for upright or upside-down use, heavy-duty LEMO connectors, including a lens control port, and the ability to transmit power and data using a single cable. Note that the X-HEAD STUDIO comes with a transport case and a LEMO cable but requires a separately available remote controller.
Optional Controllers
- The AION 2D is a simple joystick controller for up to two axes, providing adjustable speed and acceleration and three memory banks.
- The KAIROS controller offers dedicated controls for up to six axes, supports lens drivers, has eight memory banks, and can be paired with the separately available SLIDELINK v3.0.
- The SLIDELINK v3.0 module enables you to connect to multiple motion control devices via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Lens Control Features
The X-HEAD STUDIO's 4-pin LEMO port enables you to use it with a separately available PD Movie lens control system. The PD Movie system offers reliable control for up to three lens motors that are daisy-chained directly to the head. Add the SLIDELINK v3.0 adapter to use the X-HEAD with Dragonframe or SLIDEYE 2.0 software.
