The Panasonic AW-RP200 Remote PTZ Camera Controller is a comprehensive control surface designed for complex, multi-camera productions. Building on the proven ergonomics of previous Panasonic controllers, it introduces advanced macro functionality and a dual-joystick design to significantly expand operational flexibility in demanding production environments.
The right joystick manages pan, tilt, zoom, and focus, while the left joystick can be independently assigned for menu navigation, image cropping, or simultaneous multi-camera control. This dual-joystick workflow allows operators to move quickly and precisely when managing large camera arrays.
Designed for large-scale IP-based systems, the controller supports operation of up to 200 PTZ cameras over IP, with additional RS-422 support for legacy systems. An integrated 7" touchscreen LCD provides direct access to camera status, presets, and assignments, while built-in waveform and vectorscope tools enable real-time image evaluation during setup and live operation.
With support for NDI High Bandwidth and SRT video input, along with macro-driven automation for complex camera sequences, this controller is well suited for broadcast studios, live events, houses of worship, and other professional production environments.
