The PORTKEYS BM5IV WR 5.5" HDMI/SDI Touchscreen Monitor delivers reliable wired and wireless camera control, enabling precise image monitoring and focusing whether you're in the studio or on location. This robust 2000 cd/m² ultrabright monitor boasts a durable aluminum build, wide color gamut, and HDMI/3G-SDI inputs and outputs. It supports HDMI/SDI signal conversion and 3D LUT output through its SDI port. Compatible with select cameras from RED, Sony, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Panasonic, and Z CAM, it also integrates with Tilta Nucleus-M wireless lens motors for enhanced functionality. Wireless 2.4 GHz connectivity extends compatibility to models from RED, ARRI, Nikon, Sony, Canon, and Panasonic.
Precise Color Calibration
The BM5IV WR supports three color gamuts—100% REC.709, 85% P3-DCI, and 85% P3-D65—for accurate image calibration. Users can adjust Log modes, enable Log false color, and customize false color settings with 77 color options across 15 segments. The factory-calibrated monitor also allows users to create 3D calibration LUTs and supports X-Rite color probe integration.
CINEFORM OS for Workflow Customization
Powered by CINEFORM OS, the monitor offers extensive configuration options. Users can load two sets of custom color calibration files, design seven custom control pages, and save settings on the included micro-USB drive for seamless workflow replication across monitors.
Dual-Screen Monitoring Options
The BM5IV WR enables dual-screen monitoring with various configurations, including horizontal-to-vertical crop, picture-in-picture, dual vertical, dual horizontal, and vertical/horizontal split views. This feature is ideal for monitoring multiple camera signals via HDMI and SDI inputs.
Enhanced Connectivity
The monitor features HDMI and SDI inputs, an SDI output, and an added HDMI output for effortless signal conversion. HDMI ports support up to 4K60 video, while SDI ports handle up to 1080p60. A USB-A port enables firmware updates and 3D LUT uploads.
Wired Camera and Lens Motor Control
A micro-USB connection supports camera control for RED, Sony, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Panasonic, and Z CAM cameras via optional cables. The UART port allows integration with Tilta Nucleus N/M wireless focus systems, facilitating motor calibration and limit setting.
Wireless Camera Control
The included 2.4 GHz antenna enables wireless control of select cameras. The BM5IV WR is RED-approved, offering real-time touch-to-focus and settings adjustment for KOMODO/V-RAPTOR cameras. It also supports touch focus and zoom control for certain Sony models and wireless operation with ARRI ALEXA Mini, Nikon Z8/Z9, Canon EOS R5/R6 series, and Panasonic BGH1/BS1H.
Flexible Power Options
Power the monitor via its 2-pin LEMO port, 4-pin interface, or the included D-Tap cable, or use the built-in NP-F battery plate with compatible batteries for added flexibility.
