The PORTKEYS BM5IV 5.5" HDMI/SDI Touchscreen Monitor ensures accurate image monitoring and focus, whether you're filming on location or in the studio. With a 2000 cd/m² ultrabright display, a wide color gamut, and a robust aluminum construction, it offers durability and clarity. The monitor features HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, supports HDMI/SDI signal conversion, and outputs 3D LUTs via the SDI port. Additionally, it provides wired control for select RED, Sony, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Panasonic, and Z CAM cameras, along with Tilta Nucleus-M wireless lens motors.
Advanced Color Calibration
The BM5IV supports three color gamuts—100% REC.709, 85% P3-DCI, and 85% P3-D65—for precise image calibration. Users can manually select Log modes, enable Log false color, and customize false color displays with 77 color options across 15 segments. While factory calibrated, the monitor also allows 3D calibration LUT creation using an X-Rite color probe. Streamlined Workflow with CINEFORM OS Powered by CINEFORM OS, the BM5IV allows extensive workflow customization. Users can import two custom color calibration files, create up to seven custom control pages, and save configurations to the included micro-USB drive for easy transfer between monitors.
Dual-Screen Monitoring Options
The monitor supports simultaneous viewing of multiple camera signals through HDMI and SDI inputs. Dual-screen configurations include picture-in-picture, horizontal-to-vertical crop, dual vertical, dual horizontal, and split vertical/horizontal views.
Upgraded Connectivity
Retaining HDMI and SDI inputs and outputs from its predecessor, the BM5IV adds an HDMI output for seamless signal conversion. HDMI ports support resolutions up to 4K60, while SDI ports handle up to 1080p60. A USB-A port simplifies firmware updates and 3D LUT uploads.
Wired Camera and Lens Motor Integration
The BM5IV connects to select RED, Sony, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Panasonic, and Z CAM cameras via a micro-USB port and optional control cables. The UART port enables compatibility with Tilta Nucleus N/M wireless focus systems, supporting calibration and limit adjustments.
Flexible Power Options
Power the monitor using the 4-pin interface and included D-Tap cable or the integrated NP-F battery plate, offering versatile power solutions for any production environment.
