Add an extra layer of protection and additional mounts to your Sony FX3 camera with this Handheld Kit from SmallRig, which includes a custom-fit camera cage, an XLR extension rig, a 15 to 12mm rod clamp adapter, and an HDMI cable clamp. The aluminum and steel cage has multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, ARRI locating holes, a NATO rail, and a cold shoe mount to attach accessories like secondary monitors, articulating arms, or shotgun microphones. A 15 to 12mm rod clamp adapter allows you to attach various rod diameters to your setup.
The cage features an anti-twist two-point locking design to secure the camera. The design of the cage allows for continued access to the camera's ports and controls. An included HDMI cable clamp attaches to the cage to reduce strain on the camera's port connections and keep cables organized and out of the way.
