With a 12.1MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR processor, the FX3A delivers UHD 4K at up to 120p with rich 10-bit 4:2:2 color or 16-bit raw output. An expanded ISO range of 80–409,600 and 15+ stops of dynamic range ensure clarity and flexibility in both bright exteriors and dim interiors. Built-in S-Cinetone, S-Log, and HLG modes provide seamless color matching across the Cinema Line, with natural skin tones and cinematic expression straight out of camera.

Designed for Solo Operation

Fast Hybrid AF with 627 points covers nearly 90% of the frame, supported by real-time Tracking and Eye AF for sharp, reliable focus. Touchscreen focus control, assignable buttons, and intuitive menu placement make single-handed shooting easy, while tally lamps and a vari-angle LCD keep the entire crew in sync.

Built for Production

Dual card slots (CFexpress Type A/SDXC) allow relay or backup recording. Active cooling with a silent fan ensures uninterrupted 4K capture, while multiple mounting options and a detachable XLR handle expand audio and rigging flexibility.
