Stream directly to the cloud or a CDN from your ENG or cine camera using the Teradek Prism Mobile 5G Backpack 859, featuring dual 5G modems. This compact backpack includes a Prism Mobile 5G encoder, a V-Mount battery plate, and two external Node 5G modems for reliable connectivity.
The Prism Mobile 5G provides 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs, enabling high-resolution video transmission up to 10-bit 4K HDR 4:2:2 with stereo or 5.1 surround sound. It supports low-latency, high-quality HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264 streams via platforms like Teradek Core or RTMP/RTSP/SRT to CDNs and servers.
Transmission options include two internal 5G modems, two external Node 5G modems, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi. It supports bonding up to six networks for enhanced reliability. You can also record directly to an SD card or output to external USB storage. Device management is easy with an OLED display, web interface via LAN or Wi-Fi, and the Prism App for iOS. The unit is powered through a 2-pin input or the included V-Mount battery plate.

5G Model
The Prism Mobile 5G offers high-performance cellular connectivity in both camera-back and desktop setups. Additional Node modems can be connected via a secure USB for even more bandwidth, and the two included 5G modems improve speed and network access.

Streaming with Low Latency
Teradek Reliable Transport (TRT) ensures ultra-low latency video streaming over local (LAN) and wide area (WAN) networks. TRT delivers video and audio with latencies as low as 100ms, making it ideal for real-time point-to-point and multipoint streaming in live production environments.
Control via Mobile App
The Prism app for iOS and Android allows you to control and manage your Prism device from your phone or tablet. Configure the encoder, monitor your stream, and view real-time stats. You can also share your phone’s 5G or LTE connection for added bandwidth.
