The Clear-Com FSII-BASE-II-10 serves as the central base station for a FreeSpeak II digital wireless intercom system. It supports up to 10 FSII beltpacks and allows 1.9 GHz and 2.4 GHz equipment to operate concurrently, providing flexible communication coverage for large or complex production environments.
Expandable Wireless Coverage
FreeSpeak II antenna transceivers connect to the base station through plug-and-play E1 CAT or fiber cabling. Multiple transceivers can expand system coverage and capacity, allowing compatible beltpacks to move freely between overlapping wireless zones while remaining connected.
Flexible Audio and Control Integration
Each beltpack can be assigned to a channel, group, or interface port to accommodate different production workflows. The base station offers four 4-wire analog connections, four 2-wire partyline ports, a program audio input, a stage announce output, and configurable GPIO for integration with professional intercom and control systems.
Front-Panel and Browser-Based Configuration
The front-panel user station provides four assignable keysets, headset connections, high-contrast menu displays, and dedicated All Call, Stage Announce, and Remote Mic Kill functions. Clear-Com's browser-based Core Configuration Manager™ provides an additional interface for system setup and real-time monitoring of connected beltpacks and transceivers.
