The Creamsource Micro Gaffer Kit with Gold Mount Battery Plate from Outsight delivers a comprehensive lighting solution built around the powerful Micro LED fixture. Designed for versatility on set, the kit includes a bi-color, waterproof, high-CRI Micro light with yoke, 5/8" receiver, multi-voltage power supply and mount, and a 9.8' extension cable. A Gold Mount battery plate is also included for reliable portable power, along with a padded protective case for transport and storage.
Beam Control & Light Shaping
The Micro’s native 13° beam angle can be modified using the included 20°, 60°, and 100° holographic lenses, offering expanded coverage options without sacrificing output. A DoPchoice SnapBag softbox softens the fixture’s intense output, while the 40° SnapGrid narrows beam spread and controls spill for more precise lighting. A gel frame is also included for custom color effects.
Advanced Control Options
For remote operation, the kit provides both a wired remote control and a dedicated DMX adapter Y cable. The adapter connects through the Micro’s 7-pin accessory port and splits to 5-pin XLR male and female connectors for DMX in and out. This streamlined design maintains the fixture’s compact size while enabling full DMX integration. A converter for non-waterproof accessories is also supplied.
Power Flexibility
The Micro operates via AC power using the included multi-voltage power supply or can run on batteries with the supplied Gold Mount battery plate. This flexibility makes the kit well suited for studio, location, and run-and-gun productions.
Creamsource Gel Frame (Empty)
The lightweight gel frame is designed specifically for the Creamsource Micro and fits securely into the fixture’s front rail for custom diffusion or color applications.
DoPchoice Micro SnapBag Softbox
The SnapBag softbox deploys instantly from its storage pouch, delivering softened and more flattering light. Designed for Creamsource SCU-series fixtures, it offers fast setup and professional-grade diffusion in a compact form.
DoPchoice 40° SnapGrid
The 40° SnapGrid attaches directly to the SnapBag and channels light forward, tightening beam spread and minimizing spill for improved directional control.
Holographic Lenses
The included 20° medium-spot and 100° extra-wide holographic lenses are crafted from laser-etched material and mount easily into the Micro’s front filter rail. These lenses expand the standard 13° beam angle while maintaining approximately 90% of the fixture’s output, offering softened light without significant loss.
Gold Mount Battery Plate
The single-battery Gold Mount plate provides secure battery attachment for portable operation, ensuring reliable power delivery during location shoots or remote setups.
Softbag Padded Case
The included padded Softbag case features a durable exterior and rigid internal shell to protect the Micro and accessories. With dedicated compartments for modifiers, cables, and mounting components, it is designed for organized storage and efficient transport.
