Maximize the functionality of your Sony FX5 cinema camera with the MID49 EVF Cable & XLR Handle Riser. This multifunctional accessory allows the Sony XLR-H2 or XLR-H1 handle unit and the Sony DVF-EL1 electronic viewfinder to be mounted simultaneously, expanding the camera's capabilities for professional production environments.

Featuring the same footprint as the XLR-H2, the handle riser maintains compatibility with third-party camera cages while providing signal passthrough and secure mounting for the XLR handle. An integrated hot shoe and multiple 1/4"-20 mounting threads provide additional accessory mounting options.

The built-in 18" cable and proprietary mounting adapter connect the Sony FX5 to the DVF-EL1 electronic viewfinder. An anti-twist 1/4"-20 mounting thread and mini 15mm rod provide added flexibility when configuring the camera rig.

MID49 15mm Rod Clamp for Sony XLR-H2

Specifically designed for the Sony XLR-H2 handle unit, this MID49 15mm Rod Clamp attaches using two included 1/4"-20 screws and provides a secure mounting port for one 15mm rod.

The clamp is compatible with the MID49 TWIST mounting system, allowing an electronic viewfinder or other modular camera-rig components to be attached. An additional anti-twist 1/4"-20 female thread provides another mounting point for accessories.

MID49 TWIST Mount Double-Sided NATO Rail to 15mm Rod

The MID49 TWIST Mount Double-Sided NATO Rail to 15mm Rod helps create a customizable electronic viewfinder mount using separately available TWIST system components.

This base component features a 6" double-sided NATO rail with variable friction. The rail can be adjusted using the integrated thumbscrew, while safety pins on each end help prevent mounted components from accidentally sliding off.

A 15mm rod can be connected to compatible sideways-facing 15mm rod clamps, allowing the NATO rail to be positioned parallel to the camera.

MID49 TWIST Mount EVF Knuckle

The MID49 TWIST Mount EVF Knuckle is a modular component designed to help create an electronic viewfinder mount suited to a specific camera configuration.

The knuckle features a NATO rail clamp and a 15mm rod mounting port with a variable-friction design. This allows the position of the monitor or electronic viewfinder to be adjusted without repeatedly loosening the thumbscrew.

Separately available TWIST mounting components can be added to customize the knuckle for compatibility with specific electronic viewfinders, monitors, and camera configurations.
