The Rode VideoMic NTG offers video creators, filmmakers on the go, voiceover artists, and podcasters the exceptional sound quality of the acclaimed NTG shotguns in a convenient camera-mounted microphone. It seamlessly works with cameras, smartphones, tablets, portable recorders, and USB-equipped computers without the need for extra adapters.
With its precise directivity, adjustable gain, digital tone controls, and internal USB-rechargeable battery, the VideoMic NTG delivers transparent audio performance and exceptional versatility. Its sturdy aerospace-grade aluminum housing ensures durability while maintaining a compact and lightweight design, perfect for attaching to a camera or a boompole.
You can easily connect the VideoMic NTG to cameras, portable recorders, mobile devices, and computers using the auto-sensing 3.5mm TRRS output and included TRRS cable, eliminating the need for adapters. The microphone also features a peak warning light, a -20 dB pad, and a selectable -20 dB safety channel to help prevent distortion in your recordings. When used as a USB microphone, the 3.5mm jack doubles as a stereo headphone output for real-time monitoring.
With firmware version 2.0, the VideoMic NTG is now MFi-certified for seamless compatibility with Lightning-equipped Apple iOS devices (such as iPhone, iPad, and iPod) when paired with the Rode SC15 USB Type-C to Lightning accessory cable.
