Featuring secure Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission with a range of up to 328 feet, this single-channel system is ready to go as soon as you power it up. There are no complicated menus or finicky dials to worry about—just instant functionality complemented by easy-to-interpret LEDs that provide essential information at a glance. And when you're ready for more advanced options, Rode's companion apps give you access to a powerful set of features and the ability to customize your settings.
Clip-On Mic/Transmitter for True-Wireless Convenience
The Wireless ME comes with a high-quality microphone built directly into the compact transmitter. This eliminates the need for a separate microphone (although an external lavalier mic is optional). The omnidirectional polar pattern of the internal capsule ensures reliable audio pickup, even if the microphone placement is less than ideal. Your subject's voice will be captured with clarity, intelligibility, and consistency. For a more discreet appearance, the transmitter also features a 3.5mm TRS input with plug-in power, allowing you to connect most lavalier microphones equipped with a non-locking 3.5mm TRS mini plug, such as Rode's Lavalier GO (sold separately). This way, you can enjoy the convenience of the Wireless ME while maintaining a lower visual profile. Intelligent GainAssist technology automatically controls audio levels, ensuring perfectly clear sound in any application.
Dual-Channel Receiver with Integrated Mic
The receiver's compact size and built-in clip provide the flexibility to easily mount it on a camera, phone, or tablet. It features both a 3.5mm output jack and a USB-C connector, making it compatible with a wide range of cameras and mobile devices. The receiver also includes a built-in microphone, allowing you to capture audio from the camera operator—an excellent feature for voiceovers, interviews, and documentaries. To connect the receiver to cameras, a supplied 3.5mm TRS to TRS cable is used, while the 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable is designed for smartphones and mobile devices with a headphone jack. In addition, the receiver can be connected to Android phones and mobile devices equipped with a USB-C port using the USB-C to USB-C cable. For Lightning-equipped Apple devices, a USB-C to Lightning connector is provided.

The receiver's 3.5mm TRS output sends a mic-level signal, making it compatible with various devices, including DSLR and mirrorless cameras, mobile devices, and portable audio recorders. The internal lithium-ion polymer batteries offer up to seven hours of battery life, ensuring you can handle long shoots without interruption. Both components feature USB-C ports for convenient battery recharging, powering via external USB battery packs (available separately), and firmware updates. The receiver also outputs audio to the USB-C port, enabling a digital audio connection when used with mobile devices and computers. To minimize wind and rustling noise, two furry windshields are included with the system. Furthermore, you can expand the system by adding an additional transmitter (available separately) to capture audio from up to three microphones simultaneously.
