The Fujinon XA77X9.5BESM-S35 is a high-power HD box lens designed for 2/3" studio and field cameras. Its 77x zoom covers focal lengths from 9.5-732mm, providing versatile wide-angle-to-super-telephoto coverage for sports broadcasts, concerts, live productions and other large-scale events. Engaging the built-in 2x extender increases the focal-length range to 19-1464mm.
Fujinon's built-in OS-TECH optical stabilization compensates for image movement caused by vibration, wind and unstable shooting platforms. The system can provide vertical and horizontal correction or vertical-only correction, helping operators maintain steady images when working at extreme focal lengths.
The lens uses Fujinon's HT-EBC multilayer coating to reduce ghosting and flare while improving light transmission, contrast and color reproduction. Its anti-fogging design minimizes internal fogging during changes in temperature or humidity, reducing downtime during outdoor and field production.
Digital servo operation provides precise control of iris, zoom and focus. Standard zoom operation can cover the range in approximately one second, while an optional high-speed zoom module reduces the minimum operating time to approximately 0.6 seconds. The lens also provides digital encoder outputs for zoom, focus and iris positions, along with an RS-232C interface for diagnostics and computer-based remote control. These capabilities make it well suited to virtual sets, robotic cameras and other position-critical production systems.
