AtomOS 12.7.0 Firmware Update Now Available for Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO, and Ninja TX
AtomOS 12.7.0 Firmware Update Now Available for Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO, Ninja TX, and Shogun AV-19
AtomOS 12.7.0 is a free firmware update that expands ProRes RAW camera support, introduces powerful new multi-camera production features for Shogun AV-19, improves workflow control, and enhances overall system reliability across the latest Atomos monitor-recorders.
Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO & Ninja TX Updates
AtomOS 12.7.0 is now available for Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO, and Ninja TX, giving filmmakers and production teams expanded RAW recording support for the latest mirrorless cameras, along with practical workflow improvements for real-world production environments.
This update adds Apple ProRes RAW recording compatibility for three new camera models, helping more creators capture high-quality RAW footage directly through their Atomos monitor-recorder. For productions already using Atomos tools on set, this is a worthwhile update that improves both compatibility and day-to-day usability.
New Camera Support
AtomOS 12.7.0 adds ProRes RAW recording support for:
- Sony α7R VI
- Canon EOS R6 V
- Leica SL3-P
For Sony α7R VI users, the update also introduces camera filename matching during RAW recording, making media organization faster and more intuitive once footage moves into post-production.
Greater Workflow Control
AtomOS 12.7.0 introduces a new option to disable Camera to Cloud uploads while recording. This gives production teams more control when they need to prioritize recording performance, while still keeping cloud workflow options available when the job calls for them.
Improved Performance and Compatibility
The firmware update also includes several reliability-focused improvements, including:
- Enhanced compatibility with a wider range of CFexpress Type B media.
- A fix for UHD-to-HD output downscaling at 23.98 and 24 fps for more accurate monitoring.
Atomos recommends checking certified storage and accessories before updating or building out a recording workflow. You can view supported options at www.atomos.com/ninja-tx-certified/.

Shogun AV-19 Gets Major New Production Features
AtomOS 12.7.0 is also now available for the Shogun AV-19, introducing powerful new capabilities for multi-camera productions alongside expanded camera compatibility, improved workflow control, and enhanced system reliability.
H.265 ISO Recording for Multi-Camera Productions
Productions using Multiple SDI Inputs can now record individual camera feeds using H.265 ISO recording. This significantly reduces storage requirements while making long-form productions, live events, sports, and other high-volume workflows more practical.
Faster Editing with Final Cut Pro XML
During Multiple SDI Input recording sessions, AtomOS now automatically generates Final Cut Pro XML files that reflect the live switching decisions made throughout the production. Editors can immediately recreate the live cut in Final Cut Pro, saving valuable time during post-production.
Touchscreen Camera Control
Shogun AV-19 now supports direct Camera Control, allowing operators to adjust supported camera settings directly from the touchscreen. Depending on camera compatibility, users can control:
- Aperture
- ISO
- Shutter Speed
- White Balance
- Touch to Focus
These controls help camera operators work more efficiently while reducing interruptions during production.
Expanded ProRes RAW Camera Support
Shogun AV-19 also gains ProRes RAW recording support for:

- Leica SL3-P
Sony α7R VI users also benefit from camera filename matching during RAW recording, making media organization and post-production workflows even more efficient.
