Atomos Ninja TX & TX GO Now Support ProRes RAW from Canon EOS R6 Mk III
Atomos has released a new firmware update for the Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO, enabling ProRes RAW recording from the Canon EOS R6 Mk III. In plain terms: you can now capture the full detail of Canon’s sensor output in a high-performance RAW format that’s built for serious color and post workflows.
Built for On-Camera Speed: Monitor + Record + Control
Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX are next-generation on-camera monitor-recorders combining a bright 5-inch HDR touchscreen with professional recording formats like Apple ProRes RAW / RAW HQ, ProRes LT, 422, 422 HQ, and Avid DNx for clean, edit-ready delivery. They also include high-value monitoring tools like EL Zone, waveform, focus peaking, and LUT support — plus touch-based camera control on supported systems.
How to Get the Update
Firmware 12.2.1 is available now as a free over-the-air update for both Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO. If you’re shooting with the Canon EOS R6 Mk III, this is the quickest path to capturing ProRes RAW and keeping your post workflow fast and flexible.
