Capture distant subjects with exceptional reach using the Canon CINE-SERVO 40-1200mm T5.0-10.8 Cinema Zoom Lens, offering one of the longest focal lengths available for ENG and cinematic applications. This RF-mount broadcast lens is designed for native Super 35 coverage and can extend to full-frame compatibility באמצעות its integrated 1.5x extender. Its compact and relatively lightweight build makes it adaptable for a wide range of production setups, including tripod, vehicle-mounted, and aerial shooting.
40 to 1200mm Focal Length
The lens provides a broad 40–1200mm zoom range with a variable aperture from T5.0 to T10.8 across the focal spectrum. Activating the built-in 1.5x extender increases the 30x optical zoom, expanding the range to an impressive 60–1800mm.
In line with Canon’s cinema lens design, it delivers smooth, cinematic bokeh through an 11-blade iris, along with a stepless iris ring for seamless exposure control.
Advanced Servo Drive Unit
The built-in servo drive system features Focus Breathing Compensation, helping maintain consistent framing during focus adjustments.
It supports ARIA and ALAC communication protocols via a 12-pin connector, and when paired with the EOS C400, it enables Auto-Exposure Ramping Compensation.
This RF-mount version also incorporates Dual Pixel CMOS AF II and Focus Guide functionality, allowing autofocus support and metadata communication with compatible cameras. The servo unit can be detached for traditional cine-style operation or integrated into studio workflows with 16-bit metadata output.
