The RØDE PG2-R Pistol Grip Shockmount is designed to minimize handling noise and vibrations when using shotgun microphones in handheld or boompole-mounted recording applications. Featuring dual Rycote Lyre suspension mounts, the PG2-R provides effective microphone isolation for cleaner audio capture during professional video production, filmmaking, and location recording.
Its lightweight design includes an ergonomic cushioned handle, integrated cable management points, and multiple microphone mounting positions. A heavy-duty locking mechanism allows operators to adjust the microphone angle smoothly, while the 3/8"-16 threaded connection provides secure attachment to compatible boompoles and microphone stands.
Dual Rycote Lyre Shockmounts
The PG2-R features two Rycote Lyre suspension mounts designed to isolate compatible microphones from unwanted handling vibrations. This system helps reduce mechanical noise transferred through the grip or boompole, supporting clearer audio recordings.
Flexible Microphone Mounting
Four mounting positions accommodate a range of compatible RØDE microphones, allowing users to configure the shockmount for different microphone sizes and recording setups.
Ergonomic Pistol Grip Design
