The Yamaha RUio16FLX-D is a flexible 16-channel rack I/O with Phoenix connectors, providing selectable analog inputs, analog outputs, or AES/EBU outputs. Designed for live sound, installations, events, and business audio systems, it provides versatile connectivity for microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and other professional audio system components.

Flexible 16-Channel I/O

The RUio16FLX-D allows you to freely select and combine 16 I/O channels from analog inputs, analog outputs, and AES/EBU outputs. Sources can be selected in two-channel groups, allowing each unit to handle three source types simultaneously.

This flexible configuration makes the RUio16FLX-D well suited for systems where I/O requirements may change or the exact configuration has not yet been determined. It can also provide additional channels or route an AES/EBU output to a specific location when needed.

Compact 1U Design

Despite its flexible I/O capabilities, the RUio16FLX-D fits into a compact 1U chassis. Its configurable design makes it suitable for applications where additional input or output channels may be required as a system expands.

Port Config for Easy Setup

The Port Config menu on the RUio16FLX-D's built-in display allows you to easily change the unit's I/O configuration and select the required number of channels.

Onboard Display and Parameter Control

The built-in mini-LCD screen allows Dante and input/output parameters to be checked and configured directly without connecting to a mixing console or PC. In the event of an error, the unit's keys and LEDs light up, allowing you to take action with minimal delay.

Dante-Enabled System Design

The RUio16FLX-D supports Audinate's Dante network protocol for flexible system setup and configuration. Dante allows compatible devices to be combined and physically positioned where needed while providing built-in redundancy to help keep the system operating if a problem occurs.

Expand Professional Audio Systems

The RUio16FLX-D is designed for business solutions, live sound, events, and installation applications. It is also ideal for expanding DME systems with limited or no onboard analog I/O.
