The Yamaha RUio0804-D is a rackmount 8-input, 4-output audio interface designed to expand system flexibility while delivering improved sound quality over previous models such as the Ri8/Ro8-D. Ideal for live sound, events, and installed applications, it provides additional inputs and outputs where they are needed and can also serve as a dedicated talkback input.
Compact I/O with Flexible Applications
With 8 XLR inputs, 4 XLR outputs, and Dante compatibility housed in a compact 1U chassis, the RUio0804-D provides a portable I/O solution for a wide range of professional audio applications. It can be used in installed systems at venues such as theaters, temporary live performance and event setups, or anywhere additional channels are needed away from the mixing console.
The RUio0804-D can also integrate into medium-to-large systems that use RPio or Rio units as primary I/O, providing additional flexibility for expanding system inputs and outputs.
Dante-Enabled System Design
The RUio0804-D supports Audinate's Dante network protocol for flexible system setup and configuration. Dante allows compatible devices to be combined and physically positioned where needed while providing built-in redundancy to help keep the system operating if a problem occurs.
Control from Yamaha Consoles and Processors
When connected via Dante to Yamaha digital mixing consoles and other audio processors, the RUio0804-D provides straightforward management of patching and I/O parameters.
When connected to a mixing console, the unit can be mounted as a Dante device, allowing remote control of HA gain and other parameters. When connected to a processor, parameters can be controlled using the ProVisionaire Design application.
Dedicated Control Port
The RUio0804-D features a dedicated control port that allows a separate network address to be configured for reliable control within large systems. This makes it possible to establish a dedicated control system without affecting the Dante network.
Built for Expandable Professional Audio Systems
As a compact and versatile I/O solution, the RUio0804-D can be used to expand I/O, provide a dedicated talkback input, and integrate into medium-to-large live or installed systems. Its 1U rackmount design, Dante connectivity, and remote control capabilities provide additional flexibility for professional audio environments.
