Panasonic Introduces the AW-UER200 Series of 5K PTZ Cameras
Panasonic is expanding creative possibilities for remote production with the new AW-UER200 Series. Designed to go beyond traditional PTZ composition, the series combines detailed imaging, high-speed movement, flexible output options, and a built-in roll mechanism that introduces an entirely new level of creative camera control.
The lineup includes the AW-UER200 and AW-UER210, each featuring a 1.2-type 5K MOS global shutter sensor, 22x optical zoom, an 80° wide viewing angle, simultaneous 16:9 and 9:16 output, built-in auto framing, and advanced roll functionality.
Go Beyond the Limits of Composition
The AW-UER200 Series is built for professional broadcast, live production, studio, event, streaming, and social media workflows. Its combination of high-resolution imaging and flexible camera movement allows operators to create perspectives that go beyond conventional PTZ operation.

Panasonic AW-UER200
5K PTZ Camera with 22x Optical Zoom and Roll Control

AW-UER200W - White
Detailed 5K Imaging
The AW-UER200 features a large 1.2" type 5K MOS sensor with a global shutter. The sensor helps produce natural images with reduced distortion and flicker, making the camera well suited for studios using LED walls, live events with changing lighting, and sports production. Using 5K oversampling, it produces detailed 4K video with accurate textures and fine image detail.
Creative Roll and Horizon Control
The built-in roll function introduces new possibilities for camera movement while also providing practical setup benefits. One-touch horizon adjustment helps quickly level the camera, while automatic horizon leveling can maintain a level image throughout production.
Fast 22x Optical Zoom
A 22x optical zoom and variable zoom speeds allow the AW-UER200 to move from fast reframing to controlled, gradual zooms. Zoom movement can range from approximately 0.5 seconds from telephoto to wide angle up to approximately 180 seconds. Its 80° horizontal viewing angle also provides broad coverage in confined installation spaces.
Flexible Video and IP Connectivity
The AW-UER200 can simultaneously output up to UHD 4K60 video through IP, 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HDMI connections. Support for NDI High Bandwidth, SRT, FreeD, and OpenTrackIO also provides flexibility for live event, streaming, and virtual production workflows.
High-Speed Movement and Auto Framing
A high-precision pan and tilt mechanism supports speeds up to 400° per second, with acceleration from a standstill to maximum speed in approximately 0.2 seconds. Built-in AI-based auto framing can also track subjects and maintain the selected composition, with fully automatic and semiautomatic operation available.
E-Paper Status Display
An e-paper display on the front of the camera provides quick access to information such as the camera number, operating status, IP address, and QR codes.
Panasonic AW-UER210
Advanced 5K PTZ Camera with ST 2110, Dante, and High-Speed IP Connectivity
AW-UER210K - Black
AW-UER210W - White
5K Global Shutter Performance
Like the AW-UER200, the AW-UER210 uses a 1.2" type 5K MOS sensor with a global shutter to produce natural-looking images with reduced distortion and flicker. 5K oversampling delivers highly detailed 4K images for demanding studio, live event, and sports applications.
SMPTE ST 2110 and Dante Integration
The AW-UER210 adds SMPTE ST 2110 and Dante integration for professional IP-based production systems. ST 2110 supports uncompressed 4K video output with low-latency JPEG XS transmission and return video workflows through IP input. Dante audio provides additional flexibility for IP-based audio operation with redundant connectivity.
Expanded High-Speed Connectivity
In addition to 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, and redundant IP/Dante streaming outputs, the AW-UER210 includes dual SFP28 interfaces. This provides additional high-speed connectivity options for production teams building advanced IP-based systems.
22x Zoom and 80° Wide-Angle Coverage
The AW-UER210 combines a 22x optical zoom with variable zoom speeds ranging from approximately 0.5 seconds from telephoto to wide angle up to approximately 180 seconds. An 80° horizontal viewing angle provides broad coverage for studios, venues, and other spaces where installation flexibility is important.
Horizontal and Vertical Production from One Camera
Using the built-in roll mechanism and full sensor image, the AW-UER210 can simultaneously produce standard 16:9 video and vertically cropped 9:16 content. This gives production teams a way to support traditional broadcast and streaming alongside vertical social content and LED displays from a single camera.
High-Speed PTZ and Built-In Auto Framing
Pan and tilt speeds of up to 400° per second allow the camera to respond quickly to fast-moving subjects. Built-in AI-based auto framing can automatically track subjects and maintain composition, while fully automatic and semiautomatic modes give operators additional control when needed.
At-a-Glance Camera Information
The integrated e-paper display provides visible access to camera information including the camera number, operating status, IP address, and QR codes to simplify identification and system management.
