The Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro Rycote is a compact, lightweight on-camera stereo microphone designed to deliver broadcast-quality audio for DSLR cameras, camcorders, and professional video production. Building on the original Stereo VideoMic Pro, this updated model features an integrated Rycote Lyre shockmount, higher-sensitivity X/Y condenser capsules, improved RF shielding, a denser foam windscreen, and a durable Kevlar-braided cable.
Designed for convenient operation, the microphone maintains the familiar controls of its predecessor while offering enhanced recording performance. Adjustable gain settings, a selectable high-pass filter, and an integrated shockmount provide the flexibility needed to capture clear, detailed stereo audio across a variety of shooting environments.
Broadcast-Quality Stereo Recording
The Stereo VideoMic Pro Rycote features a matched pair of 1/2" condenser capsules arranged in an X/Y stereo configuration. This design captures a detailed stereo sound field, making it well suited for interviews, location recording, filmmaking, and other video production applications.

- 0 dB: Provides a standard output level for general recording applications.
- -10 dB: Reduces the microphone's output level to provide additional headroom when recording loud sound sources and help prevent distortion.
