The FX5 expands Sony's Cinema Line by bridging the gap between the compact FX3 and the production-focused FX6. While sharing a similarly compact form factor with the FX3, the FX5 introduces a more advanced 16.6MP fully stacked 5K sensor for faster readout and improved overall performance. It also adopts many of the workflow enhancements and cinema-focused controls found in the FX6 while maintaining a portable design suited for handheld and mobile productions.
