Complete Camera Cage Pro Kit
Build a fully protected and modular Sony FX5 rig with the Tilta Camera Cage Pro Kit. This lightweight system includes a formfitting full camera cage, Xeno NATO top handle, Xeno NATO side handle, height-adjustable 15mm LWS baseplate, two 8" threaded 15mm rods, Arca-type bottom plate, and an HDMI cable clamp.
Formfitting Full Camera Cage
The aluminum cage is designed specifically for the Sony FX5, providing four-sided protection while maintaining access to the camera's controls, ports, and battery compartment. It features an integrated side grip and a detachable Arca-type bottom plate that supports both horizontal and vertical mounting configurations.
DJI Gimbal Center Point
The cage base includes a center-positioning point that simplifies mounting the camera on compatible DJI gimbals, helping reduce balancing time and speed up setup.
Versatile Accessory Mounting
Attach a variety of accessories using the top and left-side NATO rails, shoe mount, and anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. The detachable Arca-type base plate allows for quick transitions between tripod heads, gimbals, and other support systems.
Durable and Secure Design
Constructed from durable aluminum, the cage includes built-in strap slots and a magnetic latch that helps secure the camera's battery compartment. An Allen key and screwdriver tool are conveniently stored on the bottom of the cage.
HDMI Cable Protection
The included cable clamp helps secure the camera's HDMI cable and protects it from accidental disconnection during production.
Xeno NATO Top Handle
The included Xeno Top Handle attaches quickly using a NATO clamp and provides a comfortable grip for low-angle shooting. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads allow you to mount articulating arms, cable clamps, and other accessories, while the cold shoe mount accommodates a microphone or wireless transmitter. A silicone grip provides a secure, nonslip hold.
Xeno NATO Side Handle
The Xeno Side Handle mounts on either side of the cage using a NATO clamp with a lever lock, improving handheld stability and comfort. It can be adjusted vertically up to 1.6" for optimal placement and includes a shoe mount, three anti-twist 1/4"-20 threads, and a magnetic 3mm Allen key.
Height-Adjustable 15mm LWS Baseplate
The included baseplate supports standard 15mm rods and features an Arca-type quick release top plate for fast camera mounting. Its height can be adjusted within a 0.78" range, with a rod-center-to-Arca-receiver range of 0.71 to 1.5", making it easier to align accessories such as follow focus systems and matte boxes.
A dovetail clamp on the base is compatible with Tilta dovetail plates, while multiple 1/4"-20 threads allow the baseplate to mount to a tripod, plate, or rig. The quick release plate includes a 1/4"-20 camera screw, and the baseplate supports camera rigs weighing up to 10 lb.
Threaded 15mm Rods
The kit includes two 8" threaded 15mm rods made from machined aluminum for a balance of strength and low weight. Both ends are threaded to support optional rod extensions, while the chamfered ends make it easier to slide rod-mounted accessories into position.
The rods are anodized black for added resistance to wear and corrosion. For the best compatibility when extending the rods, Tilta recommends using rod adapters from the same brand.
